Saalbach Equities set to acquire 2 more caravan retailers totalling over £67m in sales.
Saalbach Equities are assuredly set to acquire two more caravan dealers by the close of summer, totalling more than £67m in revenue and more than £5m in ebtida.
Currently Saalbach Equities already hold one caravan dealer in the portfolio, Robinsons Caravans Limited, achieiving £22m in revenue and £1m in profit in its latest 10 years in business.
As the owners of Saalbach have made its readers aware, Jordan and Paul, "After developing our plans Q1 this year we have come to a conclusion that we would like to acquire 5-7 caravan dealers all over the UK with strong financial stability, a well established history and a respectable reputation in this close knit. After knowing we were acquiring Robinsons we got a fair mouthful of taste for this industry and ultimately we see great opportunity for taking advantage of the fragmentation in this market and use this chance to consolidate effectively. Clearly we are very aware to the risk in a high level consolidation such as this however when done right, the right outcomes are able to be achieved. More recently a company called Discover Leisure PLC who went public in the hope of creating a mass of success after acquiring a sparadic number of caravan dealers with no real 'PLAN'. We are very much alert to the fact mistakes can be made however we have a strategic plan in place that we have proven in sectors such as Recruitment & People Services HR and Marketing Services.
Both Jordan, Paul and the team are very much excited for the next 2 years in seeing this particular group develop and mature into a collective, powerful niche group of caravan retailers who can make a larger dent in the market than any of them could individually. With the most important aspect of this project being, rewarding the key people and all concerned within each acquired business.
If you happen to be reading this and are an owner or c-level member of a caravan retail business, the two guys would be very grateful to see a means of communication from you in regards to furthering a discussion around this subject of 'exiting'.
